| Welcome to Fox Tale Farm! Located in central Virginia, we are conveniently forty-five minutes northwest of Richmond, approximately one hour southwest of Fredericksburg, and a little over an hour east from Charlottesville. Yes, that really means we are in middle of nowhere- in a town called Bumpass.

Charles and Kelley Wendt purchased the old cattle farm in 1999 and began the conversion to a working horse facility- taking down barbed wire, putting up horse safe fencing, erecting barns, building an outdoor arena, constructing jumps, developing trails through the woods, and adding arena lighting. We like to call our place, with a smile on our faces, a “forever-work-in-progress.”
